Our company is using this technology to replicate body parts (primarily spines and skulls) for pre-surgical planning (typically for scoliosis, kypohosis, and craniosynostosis cases). Our models have also been used in personal injury legal cases.
You can follow our YouTube channel (ACRMcorp) or visit our main website (ACRMcorp [dot] com).
You can also see actual patient pathology cases (and purchase 3D models) at Medical3Dmodels [dot] com.
this is cool. but as soon as people start using the product every scientist in the worldis going to be whining about its environmental consequence which they were unaware of like the plastic dilemma.
is there a mini portable version of this printer one with in witch I can put in my mustang arm rest . Hehehe I’m thinking about that one episode of Knight Rider where kitt clones a car key from a Ferrari so that they could steel the car. Lol. If there is one let me know
I use one of these machines daily, as well as a dimension FDM machine. ZCorp prints in plaster (that’s why you have to coat it after) and that will never be as practical as printing in ABS plastic. At least not for engineering applications.
cost?
Have that printer print me a 3D printer, that way, it’ll be much cheaper!
MMUUSSTTT HHHAAAAVVVVEEEE
i find that hard to believe how can it print everything ? and would the printed object function as the original ?
This might be the coolest thing I have ever seen invented in my lifetime!
